MLIA
Other than searching for stuffs like “Movies”, “Pokemon”, “Tyra Banks” on Tumblr, I just found my new addiction: MLIA. And I had to google to find out it is an abbreviation of - My Life Is Average. Yeah and I didn’t know what was FML until I asked Shing about it. I just liked a lot of posts - 307 to be exact.

Great Fun
It's like Robinson sales for the whole Saturday. The stuffs are really really cheap !!!! Got tons of stuffs then went to Changi Airport for Popeye. The first time trying WiFi ! Woohoo so bloody cool but so energy consuming. Met Sam at night for more shopping. The stuffs are really really good, need to check it out man !

Then there's this lady facing Yongru who's controlling her laughter which cracks me more ! I felt kinda guilty for spending so much today... But since CNY is coming, gonna get angbaos ! Getting my pay from Fox on 7 Feb, I guess. Need to get Yongru his lava-lamp (uh-huh) and pineapple tarts from Dion's mum (so bloody good) ! 2 more things to look forward - YJC new Orientation Groups on Monday and Zoo on Sunday !!!

"Not Fine"
Loved Everybody’s Fine ! Great and unusual drama, not over-the-top, no intense scenes, but you can draw a lot of connections from the characters. Loved the detailed direction and few scenes that really makes you think. I teared in some parts too.

Hair-cut
After putting lots of wax on my hair, it still doesn’t give me any exaggerate hairstyles… Gonna cut it tomorrow already, since I don’t need slope at the back anyway, and this bloody hair’s so itchy and irritating at times. Daybreakers
Pretty good until it gets gimmicky (what’s with the screechy bat at the beginning and end ?) and stupid (slow-mo vampire munch-fest…) at the end. I really liked the first half of it, very original and inventive, with enough but not excessive gore to satisfy :) I think Isabel Lucas looks like a mix of Camilla Belle + Kristen Stewart.
Brothers & Invictus
Kinda glad I’ve left the place, because if I were to stay, they’ll send me to courses to learn the proper ways to fold clothes, reading instructions on washing them, deciphering the barcodes etc…

The Blind Side, New York I Love You
The Blind Side. It’s just …okay. Sandra Bullock’s acting isn’t sensational (what’s with the Golden Globe Best Actress in Drama) , and it didn’t give enough punch to the drama to think about. No quiet scenes, no tear-jerking moments, just fomulaic. Another feel-good film because it’s sort of inspiring.

And so far, having watched so little “Oscar-material” movies, I think only The Hurt Locker, Up, Inglourious Basterds and Avatar are sure in. I am hoping 500 Days Of Summer too ! But been hearing praises for Up In The Air, Invictus and Precious, so dying to watch them !
